Eating Apples

I know, I know: "They" say kids without all their teeth aren't supposed to eat apples.

So I cut up little pieces and let him suck the juice out
(yes, our son has his very own Nalgene, thanks Auntie Alice!)

That only lasted so long.

Hmmm...I wonder if I can try it by myself...

Yeah ... this is the way life should be...

PS Our child doesn't always go around with only shorts on, but it's been hot!

PERSEVERANCE... PATIENCE... PRACTICE

Why we haven't been blogging....

Would you waste time on a computer if you could play with this little guy all day???

We had an amazing summer as a family of 3! Bill was home and we were able to chill out in the morning, hang out all day, nap together and just be a family! Bill has gone back to work and we are even more excited for our fall together! What blessings God has given us!

BROB 2.0

We had our 20 week ultrasound for BROB 2.0 this afternoon! So far, all looks GREAT. The doctor was AWESOME and had been practicing for 40 years! Imagine the changes in technology he's seen!! WOW.

He was training a resident who was really sweet and told us all about what they were looking at. Based on the measurements, it looks like I may be further along than what my OB originally thought. Officially, my due date is Jan 1, but Bill and both figured it closer to Christmas. Looks like we were right!

I was told that because we are having kids so close together AND because David was early, my chance of going into labor early is a great possibility. So our plans are not to leave the Denver area from Thanksgiving on!

Based on the measurements, the doctors told us the baby weighs about 13 ounces!

We didn't find out what we are having and we aren't going to!!

Here's our little wonder:

He or she is a kicker! I've felt kicks for about 3 weeks now and Bill has even felt some! The doctors had a hard time getting pictures because he/she was moving around so much!

We're Home!

We've been home for a few days and have been getting settled back in! We had a FABULOUS time in Arizona, but I must say, David has been very happy to be able to go outside again! It was just too hot to play outside during the day while we were there. Of course we missed the nice weather here and now it's back in the 90s! Oh well... Fall will come!

Here are more pictures of our trip. Videos will come, promise!

We had some friends over one night and David was playing outside with the hose.

He decided it would be more fun to play in his little pool, with the jet ski in it! Of course, the night wasn't complete without the sounds of the jet ski! He's become quit the little boy lately!

David and Grandma had so much fun playing in the morning. Here he is trying to put a lego man in a non-lego car! He's getting really good!

Climbing the stairs by the pool was one of his favorites.

Back at the beach, my stud going out for boogie boarding!

More to come, just wanted to get something out and let you all know that we are home!

On a personal note: I have not been sleeping well at all. Uggh. I fall asleep just fine, but then wake up at around 2-3 AM every morning and can't go back to sleep for at least 2 hours, sometimes longer. I know it has to do with pregnancy, so I might resort to taking a Tylenol PM (or at least half of one) before going to bed. I tried it while at my parent's house, but had really weird dreams! At this point, I'll take the dreams! Hence... a blog post at 4 AM!!
