Easter

What an amazing day of family, friends, and celebrating the Resurrection of our Savior!

We gave David a basket (that transformed into a camo hat!) full of stuffed footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, and baseballs!  He loves holding on to them and eating them (see below)!

We went to church as a family and this was the first Sunday in a VERY long time that I was able to attend as an adult!  Since we go to a small church, there were no babies in the nursery when we started going there.  Along with David, there are now 5-6 babies (all turning 1 this summer)! Moms and dads are now feeling comfortable leaving their little ones, so there are now people volunteering in the nursery!  Yeah for the simple things in life!

After church we went to Bill's parent's house for YUMMY brisket and games with the Hartogs!

Sooo not in the mood!

I realize my blogs have minimal, at best!  I don't know why, I just haven't been in the mood to sit down at the computer and blog.  There are so many other things taking my time, energy, effort, and interest.

For example, since David it almost 1, I figured now would be a good time to start his scrap book.  Yes, start.  Not work on or finish: START!  People say the first child gets the big baby book with all the information, pictures, and 'firsts'.  Well, maybe not in this house!  I have kept track of everything on a calender and have the blog to look back on the see the stories, progression, and 'firsts'!  So I guess I had better get going on the blogging then, huh!

OK...  I will.  Just overwhelmed with pictures right now.  Be patient as the next post will likely be from Easter!

The newest Bethel...

Rich and Shelby bought a puppy just before coming out to AZ. Here she is:

Berlin

She is the sweetest thing ever! She's super calm and was GREAT with David! He LOVED watching her jump around in the sand at the park. Here she is for her first swim!

More AZ (one more to come!)

Just some more pictures that I couldn't resist posting!

Strawberry shake!

With Uncle Rich

Shelby and Curran.  The water was about 60 degrees, so the wise adults stayed out...the boys, on the other hand, decided it was the perfect temperature!  They played on the stairs a bit.  David will have to wait until the summer!

More From AZ...Fun at the Park!

The weather the ABSOLUTELY beautiful the whole week we were there!  We walked the park 3 different times and had a blast!

Here are the highlights:

In October we had him this swing and he wasn't fond of it!  He really enjoyed it this time!

The first day we went to the park, Grandma Joy met us there after work.  David loved sliding, swinging and just hanging out with her!

Rich, Shelby and Curren came into town on Wednesday and we all headed to the park again on Thursday.

Here's Curren being goofy!

He wanted a picture of him making a 'funny face'!  He's such a fun kid and a total cutie!

Not quite ready to slid by himself, but had a blast sitting on the end!

So much love for, and from, Dandad!

All the 'Grandboys' and Grandma Joy calls them!  Jacob (14), Austin (5), David (10 months), and Curren (4)!

I love this picture of Austin!

Dandad is the best!  He was playing 'pirate ship', or 'airplane' or 'submarine' with the boys (it changes often!  Check out the boys peeking over the top!  I love it!
